1. Purpose and scope
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) sets out what you may not do on Deployxa. It applies to everyone who uses the Service, to every app, container, database and domain deployed on it, and to the users of those apps. It forms part of the Terms of Service. You are responsible for any violation by your account, your team members or your apps’ users.
2. Prohibited content
You may not host, store, transmit or link to:
- child sexual abuse material, or any content that sexualizes minors;
- content that is illegal where it is published or where Deployxa operates;
- malware, ransomware, spyware, exploit kits or command-and-control infrastructure;
- phishing pages, or sites that impersonate another person, brand or organization to deceive;
- content that infringes intellectual property, privacy or publicity rights, including pirated software and media;
- content that incites violence, promotes terrorism, or harasses, threatens or doxxes individuals;
- non-consensual intimate imagery; or
- fraudulent schemes, including fake shops, investment scams and fake giveaways.
3. Prohibited activities
- Sending unsolicited bulk email or messages (spam), or running open mail relays or open proxies.
- Operating botnets, credential-stuffing tools or automated account creation against third-party services.
- Collecting personal data without a lawful basis, or scraping in breach of a site’s terms or the law.
- Attempting to break out of your container, gain unauthorized access to the host, other customers’ workloads or Deployxa systems, or bypass plan limits or billing.
- Interfering with the Service, for example by probing for vulnerabilities outside the process in our Security Policy.
- Reselling or sublicensing the Service without our written agreement.
- Using the Service to violate export controls or sanctions.
4. Resource abuse
Deployxa runs on shared infrastructure. Plan limits exist so every customer gets fair performance. You may not use the Service in a way that places an unreasonable load on it or degrades it for others, including:
- running workloads designed to consume as much CPU, memory, disk or bandwidth as possible without a legitimate purpose;
- using deployments as general-purpose file storage, file-sharing mirrors or content-distribution networks for large media;
- creating multiple accounts to get around free-plan limits or collect promotional credits; or
- using build minutes for work other than building your app.
If an app causes problems for other customers, we may throttle it or pause it while we work with you to fix it.
5. Cryptocurrency mining
Cryptocurrency mining, including proof-of-work mining, proof-of-space plotting and mining pools, is prohibited on every plan unless Deployxa has agreed to it in writing in advance. Running blockchain nodes or apps that use cryptocurrency, such as wallets or payment integrations, is allowed when they follow this AUP and do not involve mining. Mining workloads are stopped without notice and may lead to account termination; credits used for mining may be removed.
6. Network scanning and attacks
You may not use Deployxa to:
- scan, probe or map networks or systems you do not own or have written permission to test;
- launch or take part in denial-of-service attacks, or offer “stresser” or “booter” services;
- brute-force logins, intercept traffic, or spoof IP addresses, email headers or DNS; or
- host tools whose main purpose is attacking third parties.
Authorized security testing of systems you own or are permitted to test is allowed, provided it does not affect Deployxa or other customers. To test Deployxa itself, follow the vulnerability disclosure guidelines in the Security Policy.
7. Enforcement
We may investigate any suspected violation. Depending on how serious it is, we may:
- send a warning and ask you to fix the problem within a set time;
- throttle, stop or remove the affected deployment, domain or content;
- suspend or terminate your account; and
- report illegal activity to law enforcement and cooperate with lawful requests.
For serious or ongoing harm, such as malware, phishing, attacks, mining or illegal content, we may act immediately without notice. Fees are not refunded for suspensions caused by a violation. If you think we made a mistake, reply to the notice or email support@deployxa.com and we will review it.
8. Reporting abuse
To report an app on Deployxa that breaks this policy, email support@deployxa.com with the URL, what you observed, and any evidence such as screenshots, email headers or logs. Report security vulnerabilities in Deployxa itself to security@deployxa.com.
Copyright and other intellectual property complaints should identify the work, the infringing URL, your contact details and a statement that you are authorized to act for the rights holder. We review every report and may share it with the account owner.
9. Changes
We may update this AUP as new kinds of abuse emerge. Material changes are announced in the same way as changes to the Terms of Service.
